About Us

Web Data Corporation's principal, Gordon Bennett, has been developing software since 1986 and creating complex, data-driven, enterprise web applications for a variety of industries since 1996.

In 2004, Web Data Corporation developed the world's first simulcast auction site for the University of Arizona and revolutionized their bi-weekly surplus property auctions. That application known as "Surplus Property Software" is a comprehensive surplus property management system whose customers are State Governments and large Universities throughout the U.S.

Since 2004 the company has continually improved and refined its auction software modules to include multiple languages, mobile sites for tablets and smart phones, and a multi-tenant version for University systems with several campuses and commercial auction companies.

In 2012 a Phoenix-based auction company asked Web Data Corporation to develop a back-end auction management site to track consignor inventory, sales and commissions. That project was later expanded to include an integrated public website for live, simulcast and online-only auctions, as well as a dual-language version of the auction site for China.

In 2016 Web Data Corporation acquired the exclusive rights to the specialized, commercial auction software it developed, and is now making it available to auction companies worldwide.

The software can be acquired as single license hosted on a customer's own servers; as a hosted solution for a single auction company; or as a hosted multi-tenant solution for auction companies wishing to collaborate and share hosting costs.
